What to Expect at the Two-Man Instructional Camp

If you work the two-man system, you already know how much ground two umpires have to cover. The Two-Man Instructional Camp, December 10-13 at Publix Sports Park in Panama City Beach, Florida, is built to sharpen exactly that.

Four days of real scenarios

This is not a classroom camp. You will work live games with feedback, so every rotation and call you make gets looked at by people who know the system. The focus areas are:

Two-man mechanics
Handling situations
Positioning
Game management
On-field evaluations
Rule interpretation
Q&A with college coaches

Who you will learn from

Instruction comes from college supervisors and MiLB umpires. Multiple college conferences are represented, and college coordinators will be in attendance. If you want to move up, this is your chance to get seen by the people who make those decisions.
